when somebody quits or deletes an account

if they have a friend IRL that uses scratch, or another account on scratch, they can request their projects to be transferred to that account. the owner of that account would get and email and have to agree. if they agree the projects would show up in their account: but intead of their username, the quitters name.
if they disagree, the ST can save the projects.

Re: when somebody quits or deletes an account

Good idea. But here is something I think: don't transfer onto a friend's account though. When you register, probably Scratch could add an extra thing into the registration form that's something like this (similar to how you can have your email service send recovery options to your other email address) shown below. However, uploading projects to your account and an alternate account simultaneously might lag:

Making Alternate Accounts
In case you quit or your account gets hacked, enter a username and password for an alternate/recovery account. When you upload new projects to Scratch, they will also be uploaded to your alternate account at the same time, in case you are not able to access your account.
