Scratch Saver Club

lots of scratches are leaving at the moment! so i thought of this idea where scratchers that are NOT quitting that are in my club can look after these accounts where there owners are quitting scratch,please at least 1 person join,say no? KEEP THE SCRATCH COMMUNITY AT THE SAME SIZE AND HELP SAVE THESE LOST ACCOUNTS!

It's my opinion that if people want to move on from Scratch or quit for any other reason, you shouldn't force them to stay. They have a right to leave if they so choose, after all. Now, there's nothing wrong with encouraging them to stay, but you shouldn't see it as a huge problem. There are likely far more people joining Scratch every day than there are people leaving.  smile

No...but you are suggesting that people share their accounts, which really isn't a good idea.  What if the original owner decides to come back later and the "new owner" doesn't want to give it back?  It's best just to let the accounts lie dormant.

What is there to take care of in an unused account? If you see people spamming their projects, just flag them like you would anywhere else. I don't understand the advantage of a group doing that, when it works just as well solo.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
