No definite date yet, it's likely that 2.0 will come out either later this year or on 2012.

Pretty much this. It was supposed to be sometime this year, people were saying this summer, etc., but there were some delays that have caused it to be pushed back for a little bit.

The wiki says that it may be released bit by bit, so that could be another thing to look out for.
