Most definitely. I really wish it was easier to get around. Those poison dart things aren't as annoying as described. They are quite easy to dodge, and only take a few slices from a holystone sword to defeat.

My only way around was a portal gun, so there were plenty of annoying moments where I couldn't get around.

Try turning off Smooth Lightning and turning Fancy graphics to Fast.

Okay, heres two mod that you should check out:
1. The Zipline mod, it adds rope, rope bridges, wool sheets and placeable leather, the rope is made out of two pices of string, and if you don't have string, you can take a wool bock, and you get 4 string, this wool can them be crafted with an arrow into arrow with rope, you can then fire the arrow, and if it's less then 8 bocks away, you'll create a length of rope across the gap, you can also place the rope on the ground, remove the ground underneath, and walk across the rope, it's hard though because you sway from side to side on it. The wool can also be made into wool sheets, and then most commonly used to make a tent. For more info, just go search youtube.

2. The Zeppelin mod, sort of liek the airship mod, except you make the airship anyway you want using the block you have, you could have a floating glass cube, or a flying cruiseliner, it's up to you to make it. CaptainSparklez made a showcase video on it. It even works in the Aether, kinda glitchy, but it works.
