Anyone who wants to argue about anything like Portal, do it in this thread, so you don't clog up other peoples.

Well, there's a reason all topics about this were closed, to avoid further clogging of the forums. And since the forums are much less clogged now, this kinda stuff shouldn't be necessary. Still I think people should stick to 1 or 2 Minecraft, etc. threads, and there's much more than 1 or 2 active now.
Someone that can bother to update a list of all Minecraft servers should make it, and then mods close all the other threads. If on ultimate-guitar people discuss everything Minecraft in only one thread, I don't see why we can't in 2 threads: A server thread and the official.
Anyone else agree? I think I could start the thread and let anyone post their server, while I update the main post to keep short descriptions of each.
But now that I think about it... A gaming section in Inspiration & More! I'll go post that in Suggestions

Look, I am pretty sure, that there will be no posts in this topic for what its for. Every post will be about getting this closed.

If I have an argument against creating the Official Argument Thread, should I post it in the Official Argument Thread?

Now, listen. A minecraft server thread uses the OP to display rules, whitelist info and more. Compiling a server list would not help us in the least

Or maybe you have a Server topic that has links to the various servers posted on it? (I think it's possible to link someone to a certain post in the thread) And those servers would have rules, whitelist info and all the stuff you wanted to dump about.

I argue that this thread would start arguments, which could lead to anger, which could lead to expressions of that anger which could result in flaming, which could result in a closing of this topic because of its nature!

Intriguing, but also difficult...

That is the point of this thread, to keep flame wars off other peoples threads.

But flamers won't come here to take all their anger out on this thread. After a while of being on Scratch, I bet some of you have figured out that flamers post in the thread that they're mad at, not at one specific thread. I mean, be realistic. People aren't going to come up to this thread and say "OHMYGODIAMSOMADATSOANDSOTHEYPOSTEDSOMETHINGTHATIHATEDANDNOWI'MREALLYMADATTHEM"
And now me posting an argument in this thread has made me a hypocrite.
