I remember someone else before was just as desperate as you to get the alpha, can't remember who though... I still don't see the point of having it, it's pretty much BYOB with a really buggy cloning feature. That and, the alpha can't be distributed freely to anyone like that.waveOSbeta. And me, but mostly waveOSbeta.
Me too. ^_^

No, because there is no beta release of Scratch 2.0 as of yet.
Some people have an early beta version of it as they attended Scratch Day 2010. There have been some leaks of it, but all of them have been patched up. Some people were lucky enough to download it before the patches were made.
The estimated release data was October - December.

That was more of a pre-alpha release really, but I suppose I should have said that there's no public release (beta or otherwise) yet.

There's nothing really interesting in the pre-alpha, and no, I can't give it to anyone. Where I got it is still online though.

No, the Scratch Team got it taken down like I said...

Yeah, pretty much this. I remember people tried out a veeeeeeery early version (to the point that it was pretty much the same as 1.4 but in Flash, plus the bugs), in Scratch Day 2010 at MIT. There was also an URL that leaked once, but again, it's a version so early you probably shouldn't bother trying to find it.
What was it?

As has been said before, you're not allowed to distribute it, so he couldn't post the link even if the download was still available.

We must look.

Just to clarify one last time: Since the Scratch Team doesn't want the pre-alpha distributed, there's really no point to this thread. You guys have to wait for Scratch 2.0 like everyone else. Closing.
