The New View!
Hello Scratchers,
I was thinking for a while about why peoples projects got messed up when they upload them... So I kept thinking.. And finally I realised that when you upload it goes from Scratch to Java... so I was thinking we could try something else other than java like adobe flash so people dont have to download projects to get them to work...
Please post what you think

I think Scratch(the program) sorta runs with Java

why doesint it just run in the offline fullscreen player, only wit a smaller screen ?

Also it would be nice if the scratch team tried making scratch with something other than squeak smalltalk....

Technically, all of the blocks are just pieces of java code. Squeak or Scratch or something just translates the block into Java for the online Java player. (I think)

I just dont think the java player is that good... I think they should use a flash player maybe...
