problem with a Linux version

I downloaded this version :
http://www.notesmine.com/_media/scratch1.3.tgz?id=scratch_installer&cache=cache

I did this in a console as esplaned :
perl scratch_install.pl

I got a new directory "Scratch" but when I try to run it I get this message in the console :

/home/user/Scratch/runscratch.sh: line 3:   500 Erreur de segmentation  /home/user/Scratch/squeak/3.9-8/squeak -plugins /home/user/Scratch/squeak/3.9-8 /home/user/Scratch/Scratch.image

------------------------
I tried the version from scratch.mit.edu qith the wget line
I got a message in the console saying it is installed but I dont know how to start it !

I use xandros distribution on a eeepc

thanks for your help !!!

P.S happy new year  smile

I think the .deb installer works in Xandros because it's also based on Debian.

What happens if you just execute the command "scratch" from the command line?

What happens if you do: whereis scratch

Re: problem with a Linux version

bash: scratch: command not found (when I type scratch)
scratch: (only this ! when I type whereis scratch)
!

I think I'm going to try to reinstall my xandros !!!
