membership cards
anyone who is really helpful at scratch should feel like the scartch team.exactly.andresmh(the scartch team member)could give some thing called a membership card out and you could feel like the scartch team.i will show you what it looks like on a project.

it will go to your(scratch user)'s ''my stuff'' and if the user does not want it they will click "no".if the user does want it they will click yes.if clicked it will let them sign the membership card and if they do,you and the scartch team get a message saying someone wants to be apart of the scratch team.then you and the scratch team have to download the opportunitys you get to their user.that is just my idea, but you can change around a few things.and if you download this, could you send me a membership card?PLEASE!!!

Hi adriangl, sorry for taking so long to respond.
We liked the idea in general. However, it is not something we will implement in a few weeks or perhaps months because it involves a lot of changes on the website and hours (or perhaps days) of work and meetings.
On the positive side, I can tell you that at some point (can't tell you exactly when) we will implement something like a "Youth Council" where some members of the Scratch community would be elected to have some more control of what happens on the community. Very similar to the idea of making some people part of the Scratch Team, but it would be a separate and very important team.
We have not decided when and how the Council would be selected but it would certainly not be self-selected.
I really liked that your suggestion for the card says "I swear to use my rights for the good of others and not for my good". It shows a very nice spirit. I hope you try to live up to that ideal and that you are nice to others.

sorry if i was a little harsh and inpatiant.and that councill idea is most of what i thought of when i made the fourm.i think that there should not be a vote but you and the scratch team will pick(more than 1 about 5)scratch members.then they will have opportunitys to make the scratch website better.such as if people flag a project as innapropriate, the scratch council can remove it.and much more.
