But you are still born with it. Why would one choose to be gay? So they can be ridiculed? Discriminated? Hated? Also, if it's not a gene, it's something to do with your brain, some sort of malfunction maybe...how is that a malfunction? you like who you like. its your choice. and you can just ignore all the haters.
But it isn't a choice! You don't just choose your sexual orientation. It's pre-written in your coding (or whatever) that you are homosexual or not...
I didn't want to bring this up, but I have a friend who's mother was completely straight and is now in a relationship with another girl. Please stop arguing about this

Humans are more than 99% smarter than computers. And the 'coding' of a human being is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY long. I forgot exactly how long though. Not to offend you, but you seem to have lack of knowledge on the subject. Do you really think that the complexity of a human being is that simple. It is a complete choice, and if you are really attracted to that kind of thing, you are homosexual.

It's weird to see a topic about attraction to inanimate objects steer off to whether you are born homosexual or not.
Anyway, I wonder what the government's involvement in this, since I think the Eiffel Tower belongs to them.

I agree, but Objectum Sexuality is not a virus so much as a mental disorder.
It isn't a disorder. Its a state or condition.

@Fordark: Apparantly, they don't care, she's now legally married to the Eifell Tower.

That's interesting. Are you sure the marriage was recognized by the government? That just doesn't make sense...

Legally married, I looked up the article a few times. She is legally Erika Eifell.

Can I just say, you are not 'programmed' to be either straight or gay. It's something a person decides at a usually young age. If they are 'turned on' by people of their own gender, they will probably realise their sexual orientation differs to the norm.
Okay, I know a guy that is married with kids that went off with a man, and I also have a gay friend who has been gay since the age of 10 or so ^^;
But I love him <3 He's so funny

You're not "programmed", it's just a natural occurrence. I don't think it's that they decide at a young age. It's that they realize, "Oh, hey, I'm gay." And that's fine, if you ask me. Anyway, back to da subject peebas. Go make another topic if you wanna continue this discussion further.

If you are gay, you are probably gay your whole life. One man realized he was gay at age six.

Svinnik, he started looking at people more, and realised he felt like he fitted in more with the girls, and realised he was gay. He likes being referred to as 'she', and is frakly, a great friend. He can be a little odd (telling me about his boyfriends and what he gets up to o.O) but he's nice, and protects me ^_^

What? Did you even look at my source?
@soupoftomato: It's not. Sorry. Not everybody has a religion, so you shouldn't bring yours (or anybody's for that matter) into an argument. Especially if it's relate to the law, because we have separation of church and state,
