My name is Pendulum, and as you may know, I love the band too. Pendulum is an Australian drum n bass band that I listen to a lot, and therefore my username is based on them!
Some things you should know about me:
- I love electronic music in general, not just DnB
- My friend used Scratch before I did and therefore he's giving me hints with making games and stuff.
- My main goal here on Scratch is to become well-known and well-respected by making fun games and projects
- I'm currently working on a game! I hope you all will love-it!
I'm looking forward to many great times with this community!

Welcome to Scratch! Awesome username, I'm surprised it wasn't taken yet I like some of their songs :B
Good luck becoming well-known as you want, like Death_Wish said if you need any help, ask in All About Scratch, since Advanced Topics is for really advanced stuff such as modifying Scratch itself.
IMO, the best way to get a game frontpaged would be to be curated, though sometimes the Top Viewed/Loved sections aren't full of annoucements or art (not that the latter is bad, but annoucements are useless and usually done by famous users) and get some actually decent games. Just sayin'
And yes, it takes time to get famous. Try advertising as much as you can but not through spam. here's a guide in the wiki.
Lol, longest "welcome" post I've written, ever Hope you enjoy your stay.

Hey Pendulum! Welcome to Scratch Land! It is full of programming on Scratch! Famous is very hard I joined about a month ago and I am no where near famous yet. Also try to be as nice as possible to people. And if you ever need help just post in the forums or check the Scratch Wiki, or forums as I said people are more than glad to help. I will love to check out your new game when it is released. Try to pick up from others too like how I am trying to learn plat forming games. Hope you have a nice stay at the Scratchy Tel.

Wow, thanks everyone! I feel welcome in this community already!
Well then stay away from Miscellaneous, there's where the fighting takes place But all in all this is a great community, I'd recommend staying Until it becomes too much to handle, at least
And welcome Late-Bit! I'd recommend making another thread saying Hey, that way everybody welcomes you

And remember that the best place to ask is Advanced Topics, and even if it's something Not-So-Advanced, you'll get the answers you've been looking for, and nobody will think you're an idiot. All beginners aren't advanced, anyways
