EDIT: I bet it's this game
I think the sound sets in the online player and the Scratch editor are different. If that is the case just import a gunshot sound effect and have it
<play sound[ gunshot

I know what the problem is.... it deals with soundbank issues.
You see, when a project is played offline, it uses the computer's local soundbank. When a project is uploaded online, the online player uses the online soundbank that the Scratch Team has prepared for the website. Basically, the online soundbank doesn't have a shotgun option whereas your computer's soundbank does, so when the online player detects an instrument that it doesn't have (in this case, shotgun), it replaces it with the piano sound.
The only way around this problem is to find a music file of a shotgun sound and have Scratch play that file instead of setting an instrument and a note, like Fordark suggests. Here's a good one from the Scratch Resources website that you can download and use.
