Actually it's quite sad.
It's a disorder (god I forget the name of it) in which people have an irresistable craving to eat wierd things (paint shavings, toilet paper).

I heard one guy had an addiction of eating light bulbs everyday. I think his wife divorced him. Also, you're correct. This isn't a laughing matter. How would you like it if you were in that position, SpriteMaster? You'd probably hate it, so let's not make fun of people's disorders.
