Okay, I'm going to use my favorite quote as my signature, "What happens if you get scared half to death, twice?", and I found a pic to go with it. But whenever I drag the picture onto the screen everything disappears except for the picture, and whiteness. And the bar at the top, but you know what I mean. And when I try copy-paste, it doesn't let me paste!! Can anybody help please?

You need to get the direct link to the image by right clicking and selecting "copy image location" (assuming it's already online. If it's not, you'll need to upload it to an image hosting site like Imgur) and then use that link with the [img]tag in your signature, like this:
[img]imageurl[/img]

Haha, thanks. The Scratch forums use BBCode, which you can use to post images, links, and modify the appearance of your text.
There's actually a BBCode guide that you can access right from the reply page.
I'll also throw in the Wiki's BBCode guide, since scimonster will have my head if I don't.
And for good measure, I'll throw in Jonathanpb's and LordSydney's guides to appease them.
Ha! Now you guys can't tell me I should have included one of your guides, because I already did.
