Maybe a "Recommendation" thing for New Scratchers?
Maybe a forum post in announcements where Scratchers can recommend New Scratchers to be regular scratchers, I don't know. And New Scratchers not being able to recommend, of course.
It would be to speed up the process of being a New Scratcher, it gets really irritating 
With a straight flush.

I don't think it would be right if people could just jump to Scratcher status :S The Scratch Team's quite busy anyway

Well, if the new Scratcher deserves it, and they ask, they often get support and get it granted.
