It makes no sense, but when I visit the Scratch website on internet explorer, projects don't work. Here's what it does: I go to the website and click on a project. It waits a moment, as if it's loading the page, but sends me to an error page that says it could not load.
There are tons of projects I wish to view, plus my own which I want to test. I've just uploaded my first project and there are more to come; this stupid glitch is completely prohibiting me from enjoying any of it!
If anyone is having a similar problem or may know the answer, please reply!

First I'd try updating Java.
You could also try using the experimental Flash player, which I believe you can opt-in to by clicking the option to the right when viewing a project. (I honestly don't remember though, since I opted-in quite some time ago.)
If neither of those work, updating or trying a different browser might fix your problem. What version of IE are you using?

If I were you, I'd switch browsers. IE has more bugs than a all of Microsoft's Supercomputers could ever count. I recommend Firefox 4 or Google Chrome.

Isn't Firefox up to version 5?

Yes, Firefox 5 is up! Firefox is really great at loading, keeping bookmarks, and easy to use tools.

Not sure what version I have, I'll have to check. I do have Firefox and thought it would work on there, but the browser itself won't open. My computer has so many problems, it's probably just the computer itself. I'll try downloading a different browser, but my parents don't want me overloading the computer with programs; even browsers. Since they don't use Scratch, they probably won't let me download an updated version of Firefox, etc.
I'll figure it out, thanks for the suggestions.

IE is VERY VERY glitchy. Here are some suggestions:
1. Update JavaScript
2. Get Flash or Java. (If you did, already did, check to see if it's up to date)
3. Make sure your Internet connection is working. If it already is, check your proxy settings or unblock your browser in your antivirus software or firewall (but I think that's kinda advanced).
4. Use a different Internet browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and maybe even Maxthon (which not many people have heard of) or Safari. IMO, I use Chrome and occasionally Firefox and Maxthon, and both are awesome.
5. Update your version of IE (they say that IE9 is a lot better than older versions of IE). Most websites don't support IE6 or older versions of Firefox and Chrome. If you don't know what your version of IE is, IE6 doesn't have tabbed browsing, while IE7 and up have it. In other words, if you want to view 2 websites on IE6, you have to have 2 windows of IE6 open.
If you're still confused, here's a screenshot of IE6 (this is probably unnecessary):
Screenshot of IE7 (IE8 and IE9 look like this too):
Hope this helps!
