Scratch is falling apart for me.....
I don't know if I'll be able to stay here.
Before this stupid war Scratch was this for me:
But now the war has taken its toll:
Can this war just end? Please?
I might not be able to stay because of it, and this is not a publicity stunt.
I am shaking my head side to side slowly as I type this.
Oh, the glory of it all - adorable cat people dressed as video game characters!

Same to be honest:
1. You don't like Portal, My Little Pony, or Minecraft
2. There are no good topics to post on that aren't related to the above topics
3. You create some of your own
4a. People deliberately disagree/flame/spam with MLP pictures
b. People say you are spamming by creating so many new topics
5. You stop posting, as do other Scratchers that enjoy fascinating conversation
6. The forum becomes overrun with crazy image-spamming obsessives

There should be a rule that says that there can only be up to three topics about a certain subject.

While you might say, get off scratch, a lot of people would disagree with you, as lots of people love minecraft. The minecraft official topic is the largest topic on teh whole scratch forum, and its only been around since january. We shouldn't try to stick even more stuff in that shouldn't be there.

The problem is that 3 is too low. Maybe there should be some official topic, and then moderators can approve side topics. maybe 3 topics about individual videogames or individual TV shows.

not to insult your idea, but thats funny (not really, u know what i mean though right). look at the minecraft official topic. some mc stuff is there. but the rest? their own topics or spam in another topic.

Im not aware of any war going on here... must be on the TBG? I'd have to agree with you that there are to many mincraft topics on the forums right now. But I dont see how it is making Scratch fall apart. I think in a few weeks they will almost all be gone, just like other waves of popular online game topics. Remmember all the dragon cave topics flooding Insperation & More? I'm pretty sure that there were a lot more of those then Minecraft or Portal topics, and now there are none of them left and there hasn't been any for months. In time these topics will fade away. Thats just how Scratch is.
