None of you seem to understand GHS's situation. He has real MC on his comp because his brother bought it, but he's trying to log in with a user that hasn't bought MC, so he's put into offline mode, making his username "Player", which causes most servers to kick him. My server, however, can let him in because SimpleServer allows offline players to connect (and multiple ones too, as it assigns numbers to the end of "Player" (e.g. Player1, Player2, etc.)). I can't promote him (allowing him to build, do stuff, etc.), but it's better than nothing.

No, my point is there's a difference between offline and cracked.
Cracked is when the Minecraft used is illegitimate, it uses a username that hasn't bought Minecraft (sometimes), and there is no client-side authentication upon startup (which is logging in with the launcher when using legitimate Minecraft). These people are let in when servers are put in offline mode.
Offline is when the Minecraft used can either be legitimate or illegitimate (I assume) and someone either tries to log in with an account that hasn't bought Minecraft (with a legitimate version) or clicks the "Play offline" button (maybe in both). This causes their username to be "Player", and thus renders whitelists useless. It also causes any server to reject them, not just online ones, because it's not a unique nickname.
So, people in this predicament have to go to my server to get on a server (on Scratch) at all (except that they can't build, but I'm considering how to make use of SimpleServer's allowing offline players to "register" like on some offline servers). Using the username "Player" (unless there's an "offline mode" packet sent that I don't know about that might be the trigger instead) will probably cause SimpleServer (the server wrapper that I use) to allow you in, assigning a number to the end of the "Player" nickname (Player1, Player2, etc.).

Sunrise, reset the server... AGAIN. Some person filled the map with PIG SPAWNERS, destroyed my house COMPLETELY, put the Nazi sign ontop of the underground mall, destroyed EVERY HOUSE IN SIGHT and  put TNT everywhere! IT'S *ing ME OFF!

It's entirely possible someone just wanted to make it look as though he did it, but I'm not ruling out that possibility.
