Miscelannious has been getting worse and worse latley...
today, Miscellaneous has gotten to be a huge epic fail.
first, some haters started posting 'enough' topics to stop people from posting so many topics on Portal and Minecraft. then, there were 'enough enough' topics from people who wanted people to stop posting 'enough' topics.
Now today, I see flamewars on 50% of all the topics on Miscellaneous, and 75% of those are Portal/Minecraft related.
We need to do something about this, scratchers!

If people would just stop flame wars before they start, this all would not be happening. You can stop a flame war while it's just a little blaze by using the fire extinguisher of the report button.

In the old Misc we used to have religious and political debates, but now it's all about Portal and Minecraft. ^^
I wouldn't be too upset though, it's not something that will go away by itself.

Yep, just as GameHutSoftware said. They will be happening, but you can cut them off early if you attract the attention of the mods.

It is really, truly sad how Miscellaneous has progressed since it was born. There were always cool topics about something interesting, like the NASA space projects, or the presidential elections.
Now it is filled with things like:
"Look what I saw on youtube. SoFunny"
"I played portal"
"I played Minecraft"
"Look at this picture! [Insert useless lolcat or stupid pokemon picture here]"

I saw 12 freaking topics about Minecraft already, and I'm only on the third page!
