Oh, and can mods remove (excluding 2000 and up) from it.

I want to include some newer albums that I think could be considered classics.

Re: Best Albums of All Time (excluding 2000 and up)

Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd

I'd post other albums, but really let's face it: Nearly 40 years after its release, DSOTM is still unparalleled. Can you honestly say that there's another album that sounds anything like it?
But uh... whatever you think is fine.

Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not by Arctic Monkeys

Re: Best Albums of All Time (excluding 2000 and up)

2000+, eh?

well then

elephant by the white stripes
amnesiac by radiohead
yoshimi vs. the pink robots by the flaming lips
ok go by ok go
( ) by sigur ros
coquelicot asleep in the poppies: a variety of whimsical verse by of montreal
thunder, lightning, strike by the go! team
is this it by the strokes
machina ii/the friends and enemies of modern music by the smashing pumpkins

i think it's funny that people love kid a and consider it a classic; i on the other hand consider it one of radiohead's worst.

Yeah, Machina and Adore were more of concept albums than Simase Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.

And my uncle's a huge Radiohead fan, and Kid A's his favorite album (yes better than OK Computer). =P

Former hit something, the latter hit a milestone in rap culture. (Especially the song Stan.)

I personally like it, but wouldn't consider it one of the best albums ever. It did have a pretty big impact on music, though, so I see where you're coming from.

Blink's best album IMO is definitely Dude Ranch.

Because of what I've been listening to recently, I'd like to make the following addition to my list:

Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys

so awesome

oh and my favourite tracks on it are "I Know There's an Answer" (hang on to your ego version) and "Wouldn't It Be Nice".

Enema of the State ~blink (1999)

I personally like it, but wouldn't consider it one of the best albums ever. It did have a pretty big impact on music, though, so I see where you're coming from.

Blink's best album IMO is definitely Dude Ranch.

take off is my favorite

Those albums are both from the 2000's.

Latter was in 1999 or something.

Slim Shady LP was from 1999. Marshall Mathers LP was from 2000.

Good call mate.

But Stan was a huge hit from the "* drugs *" themes of rap.

P.S. My Name Is from The Slim Shady LP wins an award for most random rap ever.

Back in my day.... there were no laws that censored the internet... now, there are.... nah.

1. Dude Ranch
2. Enema
3. Take Off
4. Cheshire Cat
5. Self-titled

The self-titled is wayyyyyyyyyy over-rated IMO.
