Scratch

I am a software engineer, and I was wondering if anybody has thought of adding a feature to Scratch that would allow the drawing space to be expanded to Full Screen.

Wouldn't that project (and many other Scratch Projects) be way more fun if there was an option to let the drawing algorithm use either all (or 95 %) of the browser window that it is running in?

How difficult would it be to add a feature to Scratch that would allow the drawing boundaries to be the whole internet browsing window?   The feature could be a button like the stop sign or the green flag.

The feature may have limitations, such as the background not scaling up to a full screen (or near full window) implementation, but even that might be achievable with the talent available at MIT.  Adding a feature to use the whole browser window by selecting a button wouldn't break any current projects out there. 

Many users may find that such a feature would be very useful to them and it could even help Scratch to be more popular if the drawing space is larger and more fun too.

It would kind of be like how their is a full screen button in the development kit where you can scale up projects as you work on them to full screen.

But if this feature can be developed for the internet version, then I would suggest only changing the drawing boundaries to the window size, and not scaling up the size of sprites and backgrounds.  Or there could be options that would allow the user to choose to scale up only the drawing boundaries or both the boundaries and the sprites and backgrounds.

As a software engineer, I don't think this would take more than a few days to implement for someone who knows the code well, so maybe someone could make an attempt to implement it and post it where others could test it out.
