I'm an anime fan and I agree. I love the Disney classics. Anime won't stand a chance againest those!

But you gotta admit that anime's better than Hannah Montana.

I like Disney.

I like Anime, somewhat. (read:I've read one anime series in my life. That is, I read 3 Death Note episodes, and like them, so I say I like anime.)

Well Anime is not better than Disney, it's exactly the same. "Better" being a very objective term. We could of course look at this in terms of the quality of living and satiety generated by each type, or by how many people each franchise benefits, or from any other angle really, I could argue that Disney is better just as well as arguing it's worse.

To top it all off, Disney is aimed more at children, with the occasional "PG-13". Anime targets specific age groups and markets it towards them. Anyone agree?

and Walt Disney is the pioneer of animation. First studio to make a feature length animated film FTW! (Though I think he would cry at some of the live-action shows on the Disney Channel these days...)

Well, I generally like anime better than modern Disney cartoons, except the two dreaded "y"'s. Eesh.

For those confused, Anime isn't an art style. It's the actual cartoon is an anime.

And DarkerWorld, Pokemon has to has bad mouth movements because it was made in Japan and has to be voiced in a bunch of languages too.

That's exactly why I started this thread! I was going around the internet and I found a question on Yahoo Answers asking which one is better. I'm like, "What the heck?" The two aren't even comparable! They're two different things, so I wasn't the one who's comparing the two. I'm actually going against comparing them. It's ridiculous.

Elfen Lied (DEFINATELY the best, but really violent)

Read:
Pokemon Adventures
Elfen Lied (the anime only goes through 72 of 127 chapters, but i'd watch the anime first)




I really don't get much chance to watch anime    But I REALLY recommend Elfen Lied, but only if you can handle the violence.

I watch Keroro Gunso (anime). It's full of insane humor and all that stuff.
Tokyo Pig. It's more of a kiddy show.
Hamtaro. It's about these cute hamsters.

I read Keroro Gunso (manga).
Shin Chan.
Sometimes Gurren Lagann. It all depends.
