I used to think Mario was better, but I started playing Sonic games and the graphics are just...better. a lot better. So are the storylines. Mario is classic but Sonic is better from the reasons before. The gameplay has improved for Mario but he just has Party and Sports games. The last real title was SMG2. Sonic has real, cool attacks and that's why I prefer him.

Mario: 0

So what do you think? Please don't just say an answer with no reasons.

Mario, because he hasn't abandoned what made him classic. If you like the fighting and attacks stuff with Sonic, that's fine, it can be pretty cool. But the classic Sonic games were all about Sonic running at high speeds and collecting rings, not transforming into a werewolf and fighting people.

As far as graphics go, I consider gameplay more important. As long as the graphics don't make my eyes want to turn inside out (which a lot of the sports games for Wii do roll ), I'm fine with it.

Besides, SMG2 was only released last year. tongue

How can anyone choose Sonic? His games are cool, but Mario is better. And Sonic really needs help in the joke department.

Both rock, but Sonic wins as it is actually more violent. If you have Shadow the Hedgehog like me you would know. Shadow swears everytime he dies and the lyrics sometimes swear in all games.

MARIO! He has been around longer and I just think the game itself is so funny. (Clouds with smiles, little mushroom guys waddling around) Sonic is all save the world from Dr. Eggman or whatever, and Mario has the same story, but the colors and the music and stuff just make it better.
