I don't know if many people would think this is a good idea, but I think you should get a message whenever someone loves of favorites one of your projects. Just like projects/comments in galleries, you would be able to turn this feature off, or limit how many times you would get it. Please tell me what you think .

No, I don't think so. You can always check your love its by seeing if they changed on the project.
You could say the same thing about comments, but I like having notifications for them.
The only concern is that that many notifications might slow down the servers, especially if people don't delete their messages.

Comments usually communicate more information than loveits or favorites though.

Yes.
Maybe if when viewing your profile, it could have something under the amount of comments that says "there are new loves/favs/tags"

I think it's a bit much - the sheer volume of love-its is extraordinary, and it really isn't that useful to know every time somebody loves your projects. While comments require your immediate attention, love-its do not.

Meh, comments don't require immediate attention usually.

Well, they still require attention. Loveits, however, convey no useful information and would just clog up the message system, I think.

On your "My Projects" page, under each project it shows a listing of how many comments each project has.
Wouldn't it be nice if it also had listings for how many "love its" and "views"?

Yes, it would! I've always wondered why it only just shows comments...

I +1 this too, because then whenever any of my projects gets a love it I can celebrate immediately
