I won't like it because you swore.
Er when?
I reported it, so it should be removed soon.
It's d-a-m-*-i-t.
Ok I removed it, sorry about that. It's just that where I come from people say it all the time and it's not really classed as a swear word. I don't really think about it when I'm typing it, but I'll try not to in the future.

I agree with you really Rum, but some areas consider ruder words commonplace and harmless, I keep my language as clean as possible to avoid accidentally offending or upsetting someone
Even so, a slip of the... fingers is easy enough. I also don't really see how putting a * between each letter stops it being that word... I can still read it, that's for sure

Because I refuse to write bad words, even when reporting them.

How would one change the image behind the like-thing, change the font, and make it into more of a love-it thing?
Currently you can't, but if you would like that as a feature then I'll add it to the todo list for you! It might take longer than some other features as it would be quite hard to do.
Edit: Added to todo list

You should be able to have it display who likes it!

The way that this currently works, that would not be possible. This is because my php code stores the user ip, but there is no way of linking that to the scratch account, and no way of finding out the users scratch account.
The only way this could be possible is if the scratch team changed the website to allow me to find out who you are logged in as through an api.

Oops forgot about that, I replied and I've changed it. Hopefully no one apart from you saw, and I trust that you won't exploit it

If you can give me better graphics I'll happily give them as an option, but I'm not in a position to make any myself at the moment (typing this on phone).
In my opinion the graphics are exactly what I had in mind but I realise that different people like different things, and when I made the graphics I made something I liked the look of.
If you can suggest specifics of what you think looks good then I'll make it and add it as an option. I'll add that to the first post.

Custom like button styles - added this to first post
So, you like the idea of 'like buttons' but don't like the style they're in?
Introducing:
Custom made like buttons
Basically, you tell me the style of button you want, font, background shape, colours etc. and I make it for you, adding it as an option in the URL of the image eg. stl=1 meaning style = style no.1. I might add the option to change the font colour & size from the URL, it all depends on how many custom requests I get.

Can you make a button in the style of this?
In that font style?
# Likes (at top-replacing YouFail.org) in red
Like/Unlike (at bottom-replacing You fail life and everything) in black
I'd really appreciate that.

Hey, this seems cool and I'll be sure to be using this a lot! I was wondering: do you need any more help coding more? I just finished learning ajax... (and XML, php, js, etc.)
Not right now, I feel I'm doing fine on my own at the moment, but if you have any ideas, make sure to suggest them.

Now that this project is completed, how about a variant for posts themselves?
