Minecraft Server Help

I need help making a server. I don't know how. Also, should I use my computer or a host? By the way, i have a mac. Please help. Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know anything about Minecraft. There are a lot of other people who play Minecraft online. Maybe you could ask them. There was another topic about Minecraft made shortly after this one so maybe you both can help each other.

Uhh.
A. I hate macs.
B. I don't know how on macs, only on windows.
C. I'll just give it a rough guess.
So! First what kind of router do you have? Once you find that out google how to port forward on it.
D. Get bukkit
E. Port forward your router, start bukkit. And tell me if/when you have problems.
