Nobody knows. Supposedly sometime this year, but it may be next year at this rate.

Yeah. I thought it was summer 2011, but the Scratch Team hasn't even given us a hint of its current status 
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Probably because they have to start from Scratch because this time its Flash based, not squeak or small-talk
