Note: I was gunna post this this morning but ran outta time.

OK, so scratch censored my comment and messaged me saying it was innapropriate when it wasnt. I think there's a glitch.

The Scratch comment system picks up words as inappropriate even if they contain an inappropriate word. (Example: grapes) That's likely your problem.

If you go to quote the post, you can see the censored word.

And yes, there is a bad word within the name. I can't say it, but it's not something you'd really want everyone reading. Thus, the filter automatically censors it. Sorry. sad

But the forums aren't supposed to censor words with bad words in it... just comments. That's wierd.

The forums automatically censor some things too, but it's not nearly as aggressive as the filter for the comments.

The forums have a different system where the censor looks for exact matches, while the comment system looks for the censored text, be it inside a word or anything.

The message was probably automatically sent to you. The Scratch Team'll see that it's just a result of the overly aggressive server, and won't ban you. Don't worry. smile

Let me explain this to you because I had the same problem a few months ago. So a few months ago, the scratch team decided that scratchers were not reading their messages that they were writing about innapropriate messages or warnings. So they decided to make a new section for them which will always appear at the top so it will be noticable for scratchers. I am assuming that this message appeared at the top, right? So the message about that was most likely sent a long time ago or another time but was brought to the top of the page because of the new update. That is what happened to me and I got worried like you did. So you should just ignore them and move on. That is also why I think the message system should have an option to view the dates of the comments. Also, delete them so that you can tell when they are new or not. I hope this really really really long post helps you.

Like I said in another post. The censors don't have spaces in front of the words that are supposed to be censored. So it doesn't work well.
