Exactly. I got TF2 for free and I never told em'. Just don't repeat ANYTHING you hear in there that sounds bad......

So have I, but what reason does that give it to deter the significance of being blown into 7 pieces by a rocket launcher?

Well, the graphics are actually kinda cartoony compared to other M rated games, that's probably what jfmlove6 meant when he said it seems less violent.

Download the low violence patch for no blood! If it doesn't work, tell them that everyone on scratch agrees that it's not that violent. I started when playing when I was 11, and you're fourteen, so, I'm pretty sure you're mature enough to handle it. You're parents should really trust you more.

My parents won't let me play the entirety of Gmod after they saw me playing DarkRP. And DarkRP was the only thing that they disliked about it. 
But yeah, so I probably have it worse, but I don't own that game so can't help you. Sorry man.
