Sorry for posting another one of these topics, but I don't know why I am still a New Scratcher. I am active, and I registered seven months ago. Can anyone help? Also, I heard that New Scratchers are automatically upgraded. Are they? Thank you!

Well sometimes it depends on if your active on the forums or on how many projects you made. I quickly turned into a Scratcher because i love programming and drawing new projects.

You only have two projects in these months. Try making some more.

Thanks!

Well despite having been registered on the forums for 6 months, you only have 47 posts (at the time of posting.) That's not very many posts to start with, especially considering the length of time. You should also remember activity on the site is important too, so try making some more projects too.

You have to have at least 3 projects, I think.

Because you only have 4 posts.
Eh I doubt posts are the only thing influencing Scratcher status...

They're not, but I doubt anyone will be granted Scratcher status with only 4 forum posts either.

how much do you have to post to be a scratcher?
(I have 3 friends and around 20 projects but almost no posts)

A moderator or Scratch Team member (though I'm not sure if only the latter can, or both) must promote you manually to a Scratcher. This is done when you have contributed enough to the community, in the eyes of the staff.

I think mods can do it too.

There's no set number of posts, so spamming to get posts won't help you. In fact, it will probably make the road to Scratcher status slower.

You have plenty of projects, but barely any posts on the forums despite being registered here for nearly a year, which is probably why. Post more and you'll probably be a Scratcher soon!

Thanks Harakou, I don't spend most of my time in the forums when I'm on scratch, so I don't have many posts.
