well, this is about alternative music, we already have a metal topic.
That metal quote isn't very true though. Ozzy Osbourne has lots of money, and so does just about every other metal singer.

The Strokes are good.

I really like Death Cab.

I liked the Killers' first album, but the stuff after that seemed kind of mediocre to me.

they call nirvana alternative but I think of it more as grunge. Nirvana ans queens of the stone age are my favorite bands.

IN UTERO FOR THE WIN! That and Pearl Jam's Ten are my all-time favorites. The first six songs on that album are the best. It's so much better than Nevermind, but I love that one too.
