Okay, I know this post will immediately be spammed by idiots and raging kiddies, "OMG U SUC SRYSLY WE DNT ANOTHER MINCRAFT TOPIC!!!!?!?!?!" but seriously, I need to clarify something. MINECRAFT DOESN'T HAVE BAD GRAPHICS. It's a common mistake, but Minecraft is actually something like 720 or 1080p. The graphics are very good, but the ART style looks pixely, so people think the graphics are bad. Art and graphics are two very different things. If Minecraft had bad graphics, the angles on blocks would look choppy. Do they? No.

That concludes what I have to say, and if you might want to argue with me, know this: You're WRONG.

EDIT: Also, imnotbob, stop trolling for a minute and listen to me. Minecraft having good graphics isn't an opinion, say it is one is kind of like saying: "It's MY opinion this TV is HD, so if you don't think so, shut up." You might not like the ART style, but that doesn't make Minecraft have bad graphics. If you read this, THANK YOU.

i use a HD texture pack though because i found a really cool one that's still in the same sort of style as the default

I've tried classic (for free in my browser) and I have found that the resolution is great, the graphics are good... but the cubes could do with a tad more detail wink

If you ever get the full version, you can always mod it and download a higher resolution texture pack. Personally, I'm fine with the resolution of the textures as they are, although it makes making custom skins a bit difficult because you don't have much to work with.

SO true. I didn't like the art so I got a texture pack, the graphics are amazing, just use a texture pack and don't look at the art.

I have this 256x256 HD texturepack and alot of 128x128 and 64x64 HD texturepacks, but I only use the 256x256 pack on special occasions because if I play it too long it wipes out my MC memory tongue
