Oops! I finished three top views of Leo last week, I forgot to upload them;) Okay! So I have three top views, one normal, one with a hat, and one with headphones on. I might work on some more, but for now, here is my update(:

If you like the sprite, I will give it to you in transparent sprite form instead of you guys downloading it;)
@MKR and LiquidMetal:
I think the one in the middle might be best throughout the whole game. (It just looks a bit akward having a little boy with a baseball cap/headphones in the middle of the forest... )

That depends on how he got there. Do you see my point about shadowing?

Yes, but that could also be some sort of hair color thing... I don't know. I say we try it, and if it bugs us we can change it.

I can make different shadows for the hair if you would like me to... That would literally take 2 seconds! Glad you guys like it!

OK, why not?

@MKR, can you try no shadows? If that makes it look to boring, we can use separate shadows.

Yes. That will work!

It still looks shadowed.

Good question! What do you think happened?

Is it possible to make the hair the same color everywhere?

Yes! I thought it added depth but psshhhh:p I suppose boys don't have much highlighting in the hair anyways... not like me anyways;)

If you are looking for depth, maybe try to add some form of where his hair is, instead of just the color of his hair? If thats to hard, its not to hard for me to take out the shading and resize.

OK, heres the deal:
I'm almost done with a new version. I've been working really hard on a draft of the berry mission, but this has required countless framework updates. I will try to upload this in a day or two.

Please, give me more information than that, I'm completely lost and I'm afraid your framework updates will obsolete something . And you said you were going to put the berry challenge on here as text before you put it in, or at least i thought you did.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions for my potentially Infinite scrolling Engine. I want to be able to have each costume in all four sprites, and to be able to re-use some of them. The sprites will know which costume to use based on the values in the scrollerxy list, and the costume names or some other lists (that is where I need suggestions). I can't visualize how that would work, so I need help.

Oh whoops, forgot to do that... I'll get to that later today.
Here's the new version!

@ silvershine, I will look at that tomorrow.

There are a few options. (I like 3 and then 5 the best)
1. Evil witch teleported him there.
2. Video Game malfunction
3. Unconscious.*
4. dreaming (worst option, don't pick this)
5. he is in the woods behind his house, and he even sees his house at one point, but doesn't remember that until the end of the game, when the potion thing clears up his memory.
*He was playing baseball, and he got hit with a metal bat, so he is still wearing his baseball cap. I really like this option because I like the idea that his hat gets lost and he has to go back and find it.
Another question: How old is Leo?
And Are we going to finish by the end of the summer?

Actually Leo's head looks kind of flat, so the baseball cap would be a way to cover that up for some of the game.
Or...

When I was writing the story, I was thinking something similar to option 3.
How old is he? I don't know, 10-12?
Offline
Maybe 10 years old. Some 11-12 year olds act old (being one I know ) so...yeah I like 10.

@gerbils800:
I agree, Leo seems like he would be around 10.
@Everyone else:
I updated the project again! See the project notes for more detail.

So Leo is 10 years old, and unconscious. Can we use my baseball scheme, or do we have something better?
