Ok, so i have seen that therere are lots of forum posts around saying about how they want Netscratch to be released, and i do too!
So i thought that if we petiton and enough people sign it, maybe the program will be released.
To sign the petition just reply saying "Im in" I will check this petition as often as i can and keep counting the signitures. I will have a total below.
Number of signitures so far: 2

Are online petitions really ever effective?
Anyways I think that there is a good reason for netscratch not being released.

Who knows what's best for Scratch better than the Scratch Team ?
There were many good reasons why it was never released.

If you really want to network with Scratch, do it with the real Scratch application! Scratch 1.3.1 contains way better and easier to use networking capabilities then previous versions of netScratch ever did!
First, dopwnload the source code from http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Source_Code. There is more information on how to activate the source code on that page.

To enable "NetScratch" (or rather networked Scratch sessions) try this:
1. Open the Scratch Source Code.
2. Go to ScratchFrameMorph -> #addServerCommandsTo:
3. Change the first line to: disable := false.
4. Open Scratch (several times).
5. Connect using the Extras-Menu.
For more information, read this forum topic.

What is netscratch? I've heard so much about it but never really paid much attention to it.

NetScratch is Scratch with network capabilities. The only real change is the addition of Shariables, variables that can be changed by not only you but everybody and is put into a network.
