The thing is, a lot of people don't care about what they eat, which is REALLY bad.

WE SHOULD ALL ADVOCATE THIS! A lot of people still don't know about this.

The majority of the Scratch population DOES NOT buy their own food, but they can advocate this issue and tell people about it.

There aren't many, and I can be pretty sure that a large portion of "adults" were kids who lied about their age.

True, but many people can TRY to influence the people around them, even if they are just kids, like me. There are many ways: I created a science project, and displayed it at my local university. Doing that I changed what many people thought about food. The same thing happened with this forum.

I knew all this already. 10 points if you guess why.

...Well, this is probably true, but does that mean we should stop eating these things all together and just spend our lives locked up eating noting but fruits and veggies and NO JUNK once in a while?

I agree. These things scare us.

People should really pay attention to what they eat. Processed food really isn't good for you at all, even if it claims to be. It's unfortunate that people buy into bogus health claims or even don't care. I also agree that chemical additives (especially those that are added only for the sake of making a product taste better) are a bad thing that should be limited. They definitely have significant negative effects.
However, I disagree with your stance on GMO's. While they certainly have their downsides, and I believe consumers have the right to know how their food has been modified, GMO's have significant advantages. They can have longer growing seasons, grow larger, be more resistant to pests, and last longer on the shelf, among other things. At the current rate of human development, there simply won't be enough land and resources to feed everyone soon without advancements in the food industry, unfortunately.

And they still have the original seeds.
But anyway, people aren't divided into health nutiness and completely-indifferentness groups. There's always the inbetweeners. Basically, most everything you eat is somewhat modified, or processed, or whatever. Even fruits and vegetables, which are genetically engineered. And the genetically engineered stuff seems to have no bad effects so far! If anything, it helps

...But it tastes good.
It tastes horrible, with all of the bitter dyes and preservitives. Make some real cookies from a good book like "The Joy of Cooking" or something like that. I never enjoy parties anymore, being forced to eat disgusting store-bought trash, dubbed "cookies". My sister has allergies, so we had to eat cookies, not tofu with choloate chips. I think that the whole world should hear this.

I am sorry, but NOTHING with bad ingredients can be good. Just like the Tree and Its Fruits. A good tree yeilds good fruit, and a bad one bad fruits.

TOTALLY AGREED
Oh, and by the way, You only know if you're eating GMO foods if you find this little tag that says thats its GMO (there's a specific number on the code, which means that its GMO) or if you eat organic foods. In general, I'm not saying we should all switch to fruits and vegetables, but eat REAL cookies instead of, well, basically fake ones

Instead, just pop your own popcorn with the real corn, avaiable in the bulk section in most markets. For the same buttery flavor, just melt some real butter and pour over the popped corn with a little salt. Delicious! (And healthier too). Think about what you eat. Eat Smart. Be Smart. Live Smart. Spread the word. Lead a healthy life, and help everyone live a healthy life too.
Totally worth the hassle, my family always eats popcorn this way. Waaaay better than that dry strange-tasting microwave stuff.
The problem is, the corn and butter can still be genetically modified.
