Give your PC a rest, it deserves it just as you do!
Have you ever spent your whole day on the computer? Well you shouldn't! Not only is it bad for the development of the brain, it is bad for your computer as well! It will continue to put in effort, even if you don't see it, when you use it all day (or forget to turn it off) one day, your computer will crash and burn, as it doesn't have coffee to keep it up all day! Let your computer sleep at least 6 hours a day, and 8 hours a night! While you let your computer sleep, read a book, get active! Improve yourself in ways you feel you need improving! Just give your poor computer a rest...

Uh, you need more evidence. Try researching the topic online, providing and quoting sources for more info, and you'll be good.

Well of course I rest my computer. Then I go downstairs and turn on the Wii or GameCube.

I'm confused. Is this trying to encourage you to do something besides being on the computer by using a humorous approach (personifying the computer)? Or as another possibility, is it stressing the wear that leaving a computer on all day has on the components?

Turn your computer off at night and you will save $1 off your power bills every month. Imagine what you can do with that extra dollar.

What are you going to do with the extra dollar? You will probably have to convince your parents first to give you it.

Actually, all you need to do is restart it. The reason it acts slow is that it needs to remove all the stored pages that it has in memory. This is done when you shut it down.

This. I turn off my computer every night, because it doesn't take that long to start up. Maybe... 1 minute?

Do Macs apply to this? You only said PC.
Yes they do, because Macs are PCs. PCs are "personal computers".

It's not "Personal".
That's what PC stands for.

Well, if you save up enough extra dollars, maybe you could convince them to take you somewhere like Disney World.

A PC IS A MAC. PC stands for Personal computer. A PC is refferring to any computer that is used for personal use. I did not once reference to an operating system

I don't think anyone read that.
Anyway, This is meant to aim at people who always are on a pc (like me)
Don't you dare say, 'What about a mac'. PC is referring to all operating systems, pc stands for personal computer. Not windows.
