It says 2 messages...
Every time someone replies to one of my comments it gives me 2 messages but there's only 1 reply. It's been happening for about 4 days now. 
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Do you reply to the person who replied on your project? If you do, it will count it as a message.

No, as soon as the person replies it gives me 2 messages.

now I'm confused.
What I meant was, I leave a comment somewhere, and when someone replies I only see 1 reply but I get 2 messages for it.

There's a new message notification system in the works...it should clear up a bunch of these issues. Hang in there!

sometimes a person might try to post a message but the spam filter stops it because it's too similar to a previous message. When that happens I think you still get a message for it. I'm not positive about this, though.

It stopped happening now, but while it was happening I got 2 messages every time, and most of them I highly doubt would be blocked by the spam filter.

Thats the thing, replies to replies are never expanded by default. You have to click "view all replies" on the first reply to see it.

That's what I do.
I always delete the message(s) I get, though, just to keep it un-cluttered.

@bhz: Click the "veiw all replies" button under the reply to see it.
@jamie: Replies to replies are not expanded by default.
