you said we can't have private messaging, so what about public?
it will be visible to anyone, and is just one person to the other.

Yeah, you could just create a gallery (like I did 
) to be a message center or whatnot.

It doesn't take that long to make a gallery. If you want something different, use Facebook or Twitter.
