The pop-punk band Blink formed in 1992. They released their debut studio album, Cheshire Cat before being sued by an Irish band of the same name. To resolve this they added a random bunch of numbers to the end of their name. They actively made music under the new name, until 2005, when they went on an indefinite hiatus, and the members moved on to other projects like Angels & Airwaves and +44. Later, Blink-182 decided to reform in 2009, and go on a tour, promising a new studio album in 2011.
After some delays, Blink-182 fans finally get a release date for their long-awaited sixth studio album, their first since 2003's self-titled album. The album, titled Neighborhoods is going to be released on September 27, 2011.
The lead single from the album "Up All Night" has been released. The official Blink-182 website and Mark Hoppus's Google crashed, and Blink-182 became a trending topic on Twitter worldwide. Click to listen to the song.
