I don't really know how to do the holiday logo. How will Scrach know when I make it and post it on Scratch.mit.edu it's for them??

You can use a program like Gimp. I come once in a while to check this thread and look for logos proposed by community members. I consider only those who follow the rules specified on http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Holidaylogos

It don't have to be a special program. I used Window's Paint to do mine for Polish Independence day.

I think that since Christmas/New Years is quite a large holiday, the site should face a bigger change. Maybe make the navbar red and "string" christmas lights above it?
