I've been using Scratch for a while, but I've found that Scratch is so limited, while it seems that most flash games are capable of so much more. I'm a Scratcher through and through, but I would like to know if there's some way I could get a flash game making program, as my curiousity has been aroused.

it has java script codes, but im not sure how their used in flash :S. Flash is great, and id recomend 8, quite cheap as its 2 versions out dated AS2 which in general is easier then AS3, and is quite capibal of alot!

AS3 is recommended though. It is many times faster and teaches you better programming practices.

true, true, but As2 is much more like scratch, so its easier to learn. Obviousally AS3 is better (or else they wouldent have updated it) but AS2 is alot easier to learn and understand. Quick off topic question arch, how and for what are event listners used, how are they constructed ect...
