Well you could, but it might be in a different way that you think. Here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Dave911/18421 is a link that explains a kind of password system. If you were looking for the data to be permanent when someone creates an account you can't, unless you were to download the project and save it to your own computer (see an example here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/shadow_7283/202687). If you type in a "new password" when the project is downloaded , you can stop the program and save it. Then when you open it up latter it will remember the password. I hope I could help!
