You need to host your image on an imagehosting site (like tinypic). Then, copy the URL they give you, and put that in [img][/img] tags.

It depends on where the image is. If you have the image saved to your hard drive, then follow scimonster's directions. If the image is something that's already online, however, you can just right-click the image and select "Copy image URL" (this may be slightly different depending on your browser, but you should be able to find it.) Then just put img tags around the link in your signature, like this:
[img]imageurlhere[/img]

if a image is online you can right-click on a picture and click "Copy Image URL Then paste it Like this:
