Help with my forum sign!!
I programmed my sign, but when I post anything, it doesn't appear!! What could I do?
Calling me FAKE won't make you REAL, calling me STUPID won't make you SMART, calling me WEAK won't make you STRONG, calling me UGLY won't make you BEAUTIFUL, calling me POOR won't make you RICH so why bother being MEAN!

Unfortunately, due to abuse by professional spammers, we had to disable signatures for accounts with less than 50 posts. See: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=12492

The more I think about this...the less I like the idea of enabling signatures after a certain number of posts. I think that will just encourage a lot of spurious posts just to get the post count up. Maybe a better approach would be to only allow signatures on accounts that are more than 3 months old? Or some other fixed time length.

I think that it shouldn't allow users to enter sigs before they get the required number of posts and explain why.

Yeah. The 50 posts rule isn't very good. I like your age of account idea better.
