I was trying to install a mod of ossimness and I ended up deleting minecraft.jar. In the bin folder. WHAT DO I DO!?

I mean I went into the bin folder in the .minecraft folder in the appdata folder. Then I ended up deleting the file minecraft.jar. I'm on a Windows, and I've been playing online. NOTHING works!

Open up minecraft, click on options, press force update, done, then login. It should reinstall the .jar

Also, you can use MyCraft to easily run mods.

But if you want to keep a copy of your worlds, I think you need to back them up, and then put them back in the saves file, where they were before

If you deleted Minecraft.jar, just do a force update when you click Options at the login window. It will redownload everything for you.
