what does it mean to "reserve" a post?

i see forum topics where people just post "reserved" and nothing else. what does it mean and why do they do it?

It means they're going to use the spot later but want that particular area.

E.g. If the topic got a bit long, you can divide it between the OP and second post, and reserve the second spot until you write there.


I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos
