Yes. There are many planets outside our solar syste which orbit other sun-like stars, which are known to scientists. Scientists (and astronomers) are still checking for signs of oxygen (and more importantly, life) on these planets. However, this still remains a mystery for now.

If scientists are so smart, how come they think there NEEDS to be water and oxygen to support life? There could be life without it. (duh) Just because WE need it doesn't mean it HAS to be there for life to exist.

Some species are COMPLETELY peaceful.

Why are we all thinking that aliens are going to take over the world? Even if they find us, that's no reason for them to kill us. If we found aliens, would we just start making plans to kill them? Stop watching too much TV.

He forgot to change this part:

If you are having trouble with simple counting, use the following mnemonic device: 1 comes before 2 comes before 5,280 comes before 523,860,759 comes after the square root of -153 comes before π. This will make your previous counting problems seem like no big deal.
