Honestly, the idea of TDD for mod is a little meh to me.
She would do the job and all but just doesn't seem mature enough to do it completely right or whatever.

No TBG elections have even been decided, what are you talking about

I'd rather have a slightly immature mod around than one that's terribly mature

I wish I could run, but I can't. I have to wait 2 or 3 more years.
But I wish you nominees luck.

lol I realised that even if I did run, nobody would vote for me.

If you'll be turning 13 this month, yeah you'll be fine

I hope someone in a different timezone wins: I reported this commercial spam an hour ago and it's still there.

Am I allowed to run from my new account? Just wondering, because that account is not six months old, but I don't use this one anymore.

Nope, sorry. You can only run on an account you've had for at least 6 months.

Hmm... I'm looking at all the moderator speeches, and everyone is saying the obvious stuff, and largely talking about the "moderator" aspect of being a community moderator, but very little about the "community" aspect.
Although the mod election is looking for someone who is active in maintaining the Miscellaneous forums, remember that being a moderator goes beyond cleaning up spam and keeping the peace in the forums - it also involves trying to encourage the community to grow. (Did you guys suddenly forget the thread Chronicles of a Moderator?)
If you don't mind me giving some advice for the speeches: Don't give a list of what moderators already do (like saying you'll remove commercial spam, or remove e-mails, or closing topics, or dealing with trolls, yada yada yada) - such things are already obvious and do not show much insight as to the role that community moderators take on. Instead give some ideas of what you would like to implement into the community.
