I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions for my potentially Infinite scrolling Engine.  I want to be able to have each costume in all four sprites, and to be able to re-use some of them.  The sprites will know which costume to use based on the values in the scrollerxy list, and the costume names or some other lists (that is where I need suggestions).  I can't visualize how that would work, so I need help. 

I'm posting this here because I feel it would be useful for Zoid 2 level mapping.

Do we have an idea what Zoid 2 will be? Platform, scrolling, scrolling platform, tower defense, turret defense. 2d, 3d?

Archmage about my thing?  Ok. But which level?  and what is the goal of the game? get to the other side? get to the other side and kill all enemies? or most of them? or pick something up from the other side and come back?

I have a template for level mapping that is a little bigger and is correct graphically, I'll have to find it and upload it later today.
