This is kind of off topic but I'm pretty sure part 1 is gonna come out in 3D. I think this because there were a few scenes (like nagini striking out at Charity Burbage) that would look good in 3D and look as though they were intended for 3D.
Yeah, and the scenes like the coaster ride and jumping off the building I believe were intended for 3D.
But I didn't see it 3D, might go again on Monday in 3d though.

http://www.pottermore.com/
There's a video there, and along with the launch eBooks will be launched that work with every eReading platform. I've heard it's a social network for Harry Potter.

Watched it a few hours ago.
I give it a 9,000,000 out of 10. Seriously. It is that awesome.
Only complaint is that they stretched out the sad part in the middle (Harry talking to the ghosts of his parents, being in the heaven-like place with Dumbledore) out WAYYYY too long.

That's the most not-a-fan-of-the-books thing you could've said.
It still hasn't registered in my brain why you think so. Literally, as in the literal sense of literally.

+1 xD I thought the bit with the ghosts was important because he was finally able to talk with his parents and see Sirius again, and the talk with Dumbledore had some explaining so yeah, would have been a bit odd to rush it
They did shorten that bit though, not talking about Grindelwald and all that.
I liked the movie though, I'm impressed with how accurate it was :3

I am a fan of the books, but I do prefer the movies by a little bit. I haven't ever read this book, though.

Yes, those parts are important, but I expected an intense movie most of the way through, not a "cry-your-eyes-out-through-half-the-movie" movie. Probably because I never read the book version of the Deathly Hallows.

Ugh, J.K. Rowling ruined Dumbledore by saying he was gay.

And the thing where the brother wands spells collide like in the fourth one, when he killed Voldemort they weren't using brother wands anymore. But it happens that way in the book to doesn't it?
Yeah, I think it does.
Hey, I just realized, at the end of the movie, Harry didn't fix his old wand! In the book he fixes it, but in the movie he threw away the Elder Wand before he fixed it! Movie-Harry isn't all that smart![]()
Lol. It's kind of weird thinking that he didn't even use his real wand to defeat Voldemort.

But I was more wandering why it could happen without brother wands.
And I swear I remember him giving away the stone and wand to Ron and Hermione and taking the cloak in the book. (They didn't really mention that he was master of death in the movie, just that he had the wand)
Um... no he didn't give the wand, stone or cloak away to anyone. In the book, he used the elder wand to fix his phoenix feather wand, then destroyed the elder wand, dropped the stone in the forest, and kept the cloak.

My best friend saw it on opening day. I haven't- I've only seen up to Order of the Phoenix. I can't wait to, though; she says it's amazing
